This poem, A Dream Within A Dream by Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favorite pieces from him. The poem talks about a man, standing on a beach questioning reality, and why he can't grasp it, and keep it under control. Why? Because his lover told him that all his days have been a dream -- which seriously messed with his head. All you have to do is understand that the sand, and the ocean that he talks about, have a much deeper meaning.
